Product overview
The IP66/IP67 Industrial VoIP Phone That Handles What Your Site Throws at It
Standard office phones don't belong on oil rigs, railway tunnels, factory floors, or coastal ports. Moisture gets in. Dust clogs the keypad. A single dropped call during an emergency becomes a safety incident. Equipment that wasn't built for the environment it's placed in eventually fails — and out in the field, failure isn't just expensive, it's dangerous.
The HWT-1V-LHB is built around an SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound) housing with high mechanical strength and impact resistance. UV-stabilised polyester powder coat finish. Spring-door closure seals the keypad against water ingress between calls. Full-duplex communication, G.711/G.722/G.729 codec support, echo cancellation to G.167/G.168, and ringing sound level above 90dB(A) — loud enough to be heard over machinery and ambient site noise. The silicone rubber keypad is designed for gloved hands. All 0–9 buttons can be programmed as speed dial keys. MTBF rated at 100,000 hours.
Features
HWT-1V-LHB Weatherproof VoIP Telephone
Full Duplex VoIP Communication
SIP 2.0 (RFC 3261) compliant. G.711, G.722 wideband, G.729, and other codecs. Echo cancellation to G.167/G.168 standards.
IP66 and IP67 Dual Rating
IP66 (high-pressure water jets) and IP67 (temporary immersion to 1 metre). Broader protection margin than single-rated weatherproof phones.
ITU-T K.21 Lightning Protection
Built-in surge protection compliant with ITU-T Recommendation K.21. Protects both the device and the network it connects to on exposed outdoor sites.
PoE-Powered — Single Cable Installation
Supports PoE IEEE 802.3af. Power over the same Ethernet cable that carries voice data — no separate power circuit at each telephone location.
Beacon and Loudspeaker Support
Optional external flash beacon and loudspeaker/sounder — essential for noisy environments like tunnel bores, production floors, and port terminals.
Web GUI Configuration
Local or remote configuration via web GUI. DHCP and static IP. Remote firmware upgrade. Programmable speed dial on all 0–9 keys.

Applications
Where it is deployed
Oil and Gas Facilities
Offshore platforms, refineries, and LNG terminals need weatherproof communication points that survive salt air, humidity, and the hazardous atmosphere classifications these sites demand.
MRT Stations and Railway Infrastructure
Station communication rooms and trackside installations carry safety-critical voice traffic. The HWT-1V-LHB integrates directly with IP-PBX call management systems.
Tunnels and Underground Infrastructure
Tunnel bores, MRT shafts, and underground utility corridors — environments where moisture, vibration, and high ambient noise make standard communication equipment fail.
Port and Maritime Terminals
Cargo terminals and harbours need voice communication at crane positions, berths, and gate points — in environments combining salt air, vibration, and continuous outdoor exposure.
Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plants
Classified areas and washdown zones where IP66/IP67 protection, chemical-resistant housing, and hazardous area certification are required for installed communication equipment.
Outdoor Industrial Sites
Mining sites, power stations, construction sites, sports stadiums, and outdoor telecom nodes — anywhere a standard telephone would corrode, flood, or fail.
