Product overview
The Last Cable You Want to Troubleshoot at 2am
HEPDA's Fibre Patch Cords are optical cables built from precision-grade glass fibre and terminated with factory-polished connectors. They're engineered to carry high-speed data signals between network equipment with minimal signal loss in data centres, industrial plants, and telecom infrastructure across Singapore.
Available in OS2 single-mode and OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4 multi-mode versions, covering link distances from a few metres inside a rack all the way to long-haul runs across a facility. Cable diameters run from 0.9mm slim-profile builds to 3.0mm heavy-duty constructions, with standard lengths from 1m to 30m and custom lengths available on request.
Single-mode (OS2)
Long-distance runs across facilities, between buildings, and for telecom/GPON applications requiring APC connectors.
Multimode (OM1/OM2/OM3/OM4)
High-bandwidth, shorter-distance links inside data centres, buildings, and industrial facilities.
Features
HFPC-FOPC Industrial Fibre Optic Patch Cord
OS2, OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4 fibre types
Complete range of fibre modes — single-mode OS2 for long distances and telecom, multimode OM1–OM4 for data centre and industrial applications.
LC, SC, FC, ST, MT-RJ, E2000 connectors
Full connector range in duplex and simplex configurations, uniform or hybrid. PC, UPC, and APC polish types available for every application.
LSZH and PVC jacket options
LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket meets fire safety requirements for indoor industrial and data centre installations. PVC available for standard deployments.
0.9mm to 3.0mm cable diameters
Slim 0.9mm profiles for high-density data centre environments and 3.0mm heavy-duty for industrial and outdoor applications. Custom lengths from 1m to 30m.
ANSI/TIA-568-C.3 and ISO/IEC 11801 certified
Factory-terminated to international optical standards. Low insertion loss, high return loss — what actually matters for high-speed links in dense network environments.
-20°C to +70°C operating range
Handles Singapore's industrial environments — from air-conditioned server rooms to industrial cabinets in direct sun. Armoured variants extend to +85°C.

Applications
Where it is deployed
Data Centres and Colocation
High-density racks need every patch cord to perform to spec every time. HEPDA OM3/OM4 multimode patch cords in slim 0.9mm profiles keep airflow clean and cable management tight.
Marine and Port Terminals
Singaporean port terminals expose network cabling to salt air, humidity, and vibration. HEPDA patch cords with LSZH jackets and robust strain-relief boots maintain connection integrity.
Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Plants
Facilities on Jurong Island run 24/7 in high-heat, high-humidity conditions. Single-mode OS2 patch cords with APC ferrules keep signal loss within spec.
MRT and Public Transport Infrastructure
Trackside cabinets and station communication rooms carry safety-critical SCADA and CCTV traffic over fibre. HEPDA patch cords comply with international optical standards.
Telecommunications and ISP Networks
Telecom operators running GPON, WDM, or DWDM infrastructure need APC-terminated single-mode patch cords with consistently low insertion loss.
Manufacturing and Industrial Automation
Factory floors run machine vision systems, PLCs, and Ethernet I/O over fibre backbones to avoid EMI from motors and drives. HEPDA patch cords connect fibre media converters and managed switches.
