Product overview

The HMC-HDM-G1S — Hardened Grade Gigabit Media Converter

The HMC-HDM-G1S is a ruggedised, industrial-grade media converter designed to bridge 10/100/1000Base-TX copper Ethernet to 1000Base-SFP fibre networks in the harshest field environments. Built with an aluminium housing rated IP40, an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C, and dual DC redundant power inputs (DC9–56V terminal block), this converter is the standard choice for industrial automation sites, offshore platforms, roadside installations, and any deployment where a commercial-grade converter is simply not an option.
